What moment in your career shaped the way you practice today?
After more than a decade in practice, it’s not just one moment, but a meaningful collection of experiences that have shaped how I care for patients. Early in my career, I was fortunate to be introduced to root-cause, functional medicine. Witnessing the healing, hope, and transformation it brings to people’s lives continues to reinforce why I do this work.
How do you continue evolving in your field?
I’m a lifelong learner, constantly absorbing new knowledge through books, podcasts, patient experiences, professional collaboration, and continuing education in Functional, Regenerative, and Longevity Medicine. I love translating complex science into practical, personalized care that empowers people to thrive in an often overwhelming health landscape.
What drew you to Clinic 5C’s mission and values?
I was drawn to the opportunity to help build a next-level Functional Medicine practice aligned with Dr. Chesnut’s cutting-edge vision. As Co-Founder of Clinic 5C Functional Medicine, I’m incredibly proud of how we continue to grow: serving our community and beyond with integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to Functional & Regenerative Medicine done right.
Do you have a personal routine for staying healthy or performing at your best?
I aim for bold balance across the foundational pillars of health: nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, and community. My routine shifts with the seasons of life. Whether it’s cooking nourishing meals, hiking with my family, practicing yoga, using red light therapy, or unwinding in the sauna, I try to stay in tune with what my body needs and what life allows.
What’s one area of your life you’re currently optimizing?
I’m focused on optimizing my health during perimenopause: building strength, supporting hormone balance, and preventing disease so I can keep showing up at my best, in every area of life, especially for my family – my husband and 3 kids.
